Our first major project was taking a "Five Minute Walk" and taking pictures of what we saw. This project taught me how to blur photos and how to make a collage.
This project was called a "Picture in a Picture". What we had to do was find an old photo then take a new one in the same place but hold the only photo in the picture. I edited this photo by changing the contrast, brightness, and other little things.
For this project we had to take multiple pictures and replace a frame in one picture with another picture, reflection, or background image. I took the background from the second image and dragged that into the original picture which was the first one. Then I edited it to make it black and white.
This major project was a pantograph. We had to take multiple pictures from different angles and then piece them together. A new technique I learned was how to change the opacity in order to make pictures more translucent.
For our last major project this quarter we had to find faces in everyday places. I found some at school and at my house or backyard. Once we took the pictures we had to put them in a 3 by 3 grid and make them all the same size.
For this major project we used a picture of an object then cropped it into a background to make it seem like our object was larger than the background .
For our last minor project this semester we had to take a picture form about a 45 degree angle looking down and then blur part of it to make it look like a miniature object.
